<p><strong>Job Posting: Adaptive Swim Instructor</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Decatur, Georgia</p><p><strong>Dates/Time: </strong>Saturdays, 1:30PM - 4:30PM</p><p>Septembe<strong>r- </strong>21st, 28th,</p><p>October<strong> -</strong> 5th, 19th, 26th</p><p><strong>Position Type:</strong> Temporary</p><p>Adaptive Swim Instructor needed for our Learn to Swim Program. The BlazeSports Learn to Swim program caters to those wanting to increase their confidence in the water by learning how to swim and introduction to strokes. Practices consist of 30 minute one - one sessions with a swim coach.</p><p><strong>About Us:</strong> BlazeSports is dedicated to promoting inclusivity and accessibility in aquatic environments. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Adaptive Swim Instructor to join our team and help individuals of all abilities experience the joy of swimming.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide one-on-one and group instruction to participants with diverse abilities.</li><li>Create a safe and supportive environment for all swimmers.</li><li>Collaborate with parents and athletes to develop personalized goals.</li><li>Monitor and assess progress, adjusting instruction methods as necessary.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized aquatic space.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Swim Instructor experience required</li><li>Current certification in CPR/AED and First Aid preferred</li><li>Certification in Adaptive Aquatics or relevant swim instruction preferred.</li><li>Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs preferred</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>$20/hr</li></ul>
