Dragonfly Education is looking for Math and Science Tutors to join our team! 

Dragonfly Education is a tutoring company seeking fantastic tutors who can provide academic tutoring and academic coaching for Math and Science for middle school, high school college-level, and adult learners. We customize education to individuals’ abilities and needs and provide instruction in-home or online for learners of all ages.  Our private in-home tutoring is offered in the Boulder, Louisville, Lafayette, Superior, and Broomfield areas.

We're looking for candidates with a solid understanding of the subject matter, communication skills, first-rate teaching skills, and a passion for transforming students so they reach their full potential. Our ideal candidate is an experienced tutor or teacher who can adapt to different learning styles. We want our tutors to have the integrity and knowledge to push students to excel beyond expectations.

WHAT WE OFFER:

SKILLS NEEDED TO BE A GOOD TUTOR:

• Excellent organizational skills
• Fantastic communication skills
• Good subject knowledge and curriculum knowledge
• Ability to build strong, personal relationships with students
• Ability to inspire confidence in students
• Patience, Positivity, Empathy

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Extensive knowledge of the subjects you wish to tutor in the desired age range.  Teaching classes or credentials are a plus.
• Great personality with the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work with the student's curriculum and create lesson plans.
• You must have access to a car and have a valid driver's license
• Access to the internet, a computer, or a smartphone.

COMPENSATION:

Standard $25/hr - $50/hr, depending on experience and subject matter.

LOCAL APPLICANTS ONLY- Due to travel to student homes, we only accept candidates who live or work within 10 miles of Boulder, Louisville, Lafayette, Superior, or Broomfield with a working vehicle.
