The I.N.S.P.i.R.E School for Autism is a year-round specialized placement school for students aged 7-22, preparing them to take a fulfilling, meaningful role in their communities. Our school is located on a beautiful 140 acre property in the rolling hills of Southern Vermont.

Our school is seeking a full-time Special Educator to design and deliver customized programming with the support of a strong, collaborative team of teachers, 1:1 Paraeducators, SPED Director, and a BCBA. Our small class sizes allow you to devote ample time to prep and build strong, productive bonds with your students.

The successful candidate will:

• Supervise students, all of whom have 1:1 support from a paraeducator.
• Create and deliver individualized lessons according to a students’ IEP goals.
• Provide individual and small group instruction.
• Work collaboratively with specialists and colleagues to plan effective instruction for all students.
• Participate in IEP meetings.
• Assess student progress throughout the year.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Special Education
- Special Educators license or endorsement from most states, or have the coursework required to be eligible for VT licensure (you can start with us while waiting for your provisional)!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,000.00 - $65,600.00 per year
