Club Z! Bethesda seeks Spanish Language Tutors - in-person only - to work One-on-One with beginner to intermediate Spanish students in the North Bethesda and Rockville, Maryland areas. 

Club Z! Tutoring is a national in-home tutoring company that has been a trusted leader in education for over 27 years! We take great pride in matching highly talented tutors with students based on their individual needs and requirements. We work with each student one-on-one, utilizing the student's classroom curriculum and offering study skills and test prep programs.  We are a team of education enthusiasts with one mission: help students achieve their goals and reach their highest potential! 

This is a part-time position ($29-$31 per hour to start), working in person with students in the Rockville, MD, area! 

Club Z! Tutors: 

*** This is for private tutoring located in Montgomery County, MD.  Applicants must live in the Greater Bethesda, Rockville, or Silver Spring, MD areas.  This is not a virtual tutoring position! ***  

Tutors will meet one-on-one with the students in the student's home. We match tutors with students based on their needs and your qualifications, and we guarantee our clients a perfect tutor match. Tutors utilize the student's classroom curriculum and other support materials to work with the student, improving their grades and academic confidence. Tutoring sessions occur after during school hours,   

PLEASE NOTE: This role is for in-person tutoring in the student's home. During the tutoring sessions, you and the family will follow CDC guidelines.

What do we look for in a tutor?

  • Kindness and patience - excellent communication skills and a friendly personality.

  • College degree.
  • Academic background in the subject areas you wish to tutor.
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience.  MCPS teaching experience is highly valued.   
  • Reliable transportation.

Club Z! Tutor Responsibilities Include:

  • Taking the time to learn and understand your student's personality, learning style, and academic challenges.
  • Developing a learning plan to best accomplish specified academic goals and objectives.   
  • Effectively communicate with student parents/caregivers and Club Z! program staff on the student's progress.  
  • Provide weekly reporting on tutoring sessions.
