We are seeking a charismatic and people-oriented Manager to oversee business operations at our location. The ideal candidate is organized, can manage staff effectively, and is able to develop a proficiency at using our golf simulators. Golf experience is a bonus. The Manager reports directly to the owner.

  • Train, manage and schedule our staff, which is usually 1 to 3 part-time employees, which fluctuates throughout the year.
  • Set guests up on the golf simulators and explain the technology to customers
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Operate Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently
  • Work with our technology provider to address any issues with our simulators
  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with customers
  • Display attention to detail by actively checking in with customers throughout their booking
  • During the summer (June, July, and beginning of August), manage the kids summer camps. There are 2 sessions per day that are each 3 hours long. 
  • Manage our leagues, including communicating with our league members, collecting fees, and facilitating the tournament. 
  • Take private party reservations and help with set up
  • Monitor and run payroll
  • Maintain a clean environment
  • Ensure opening/closing procedures are followed
  • Ensure necessary supplies and toiletries are replenished
  • Create a fun environment for our golfers
  • Promote the Halfway House brand and experience at charity golf outings/special events
  • Work with our partner, Golden Boy BBQ, to ensure our customers’ needs are met

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Technology troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working in hospitality, hotel or golf courses/clubs a bonus
  • Experience with golf simulator systems helpful but not required
  • Basic knowledge of golf helpful but not required
  • On-Call, as needed, for operational concerns, support or issues
  • Availability to be present in the space primarily nights and weekends
  • Exemplary communication, time management and organization skills
  • Upbeat energy and enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Ability to think on your feet and manage customer expectations
  • Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time
