Farm to People is an online farmers market grocery delivery service specializing in sustainably-sourced, local, fresh produce and artisanally produced foods. Our customers can subscribe to a series of curated Farm Boxes or choose to shop à la carte. We deliver 5 days per week and are expanding in the NYC market. Our mission is to provide an ethical marketplace where people can know where their food is coming from. We recently opened a Kitchen & Bar where we serve a seasonal menu and host events. We are a tight-knit and inclusive team full of passionate foodies. 

 

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Part-Time Content Creator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging posts, graphics, photos and videos to drive audience engagement and promote brand awareness, across our social media platforms. You’ll work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute social media strategies that align with our brand voice and goals. Not only are you detail-oriented, but you are an ultra-creative problem solver with keen ability to efficiently and successfully execute.

This is an on-site position  

12-16 hours a week. This is a part-time, non-exempt position, days and hours are semi flexible. 

 

$20-25/ hour - d.o.e.

 

This position reports directly to the Creative Director.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and publish compelling content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all social media channels.
  • Generate creative ideas for posts, stories, and campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and implement social media strategies.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and make recommendations for new initiatives.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner.
  • Track and analyze the performance of social media content, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule.
  • Create copy for captions and occasionally other brand assets.
  • Create content and assets for digital advertising.
  • Assist with Photoshoots and photo editing.
  • Take weekly product photos.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator, Digital Content Creator, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Photography, videography, and basic editing skills.
  • Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role, you should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizing skills and has the ability to multitask.
  • Self-motivated and able to complete duties without supervision.
  • You will need to have your own working computer.
