Fast growing and expanding generator service company seeks a professional and experienced generator maintenance engineer that has an interest in being an integral part of a growing team and has a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

As the P3 Generator Services Technician you will be on the front lines of this effort using and sharing your extensive knowledge and experience in generator repair.

Location:

While our service responsibilities cover the state of New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania, this position will be primarily stationed from our office headquarters in Phillipsburg, NJ. Travel to customer locations is required. A company supplied and equipped truck will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Your objectives as the P3 Generator Services Technician will be to offer your experience in both engine and electrical diagnostics.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

• Knowledge of engines as it pertains to starting, cooling, and fuel delivery systems.
• Familiar with control panel fault codes.
• High School Diploma or GED certification.
• Must be able to operate power and hand tools as well as test equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of engines (diesel)
• Excellent communication and sales skills including English speaking and writing ability.
• Clean driving record.
• Be able to demonstrate basic abilities in Microsoft software platforms.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States of America.
• Must be currently residing in USA.
• Must be willing to take a drug test.
• Be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of past employment, criminal history and education background
• Be willing to submit to required checks of driving record.
• Possession of a TWIC Card or able to pass the federal background check required to obtain one.

• Automotive Technicians are encouraged to apply.

Previous experience in generator repair and maintenance as a Field Technician, Field Service Engineer, and/or Field Service Maintenance Technician is preferred. However, P3 Generator Services will provide training to an applicant that has an interest in learning and has a mechanical background.

Applicants must be willing to work up to one week per month on call 24/7 for emergency repairs, at an enhanced compensatory rate. Technicians are rotated through this duty and will not be expected to be available 24/7 for the entire month. Standard operating hours are 7am-3pm.
