Location: Canaveral Cargo Terminal

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all business transactions are accounted properly.
  • Prepares timely and accurate invoices and sends to Customers.
  • Update accounts receivable, follow up for collection regular basis, reconcile customer accounts and issue SOA.
  • Set off invoices against payment.
  • Prepares Accounts Payable invoices for review by GM and Operations Manager, then pays vendors accordingly.
  • Maintain bank & cash book, coordinate with the bank for banking operations, and perform daily reconciliation of cash, checks, ACH, wires, credit card transactions.
  • Petty cash handling at Port.
  • Perform bi-monthly Payroll functions, along with associated benefits, taxes, etc.
  • Review and analyse expenses as assigned and, updating GM for any exceptions.
  • Assist HO finance staff in the preparation of Balance Sheet/Income statement/Cash Flow/Other financial statements.
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate weekly / monthly reports as assigned.
  • Prepare annual Budget and quarterly Forecasts.
  • Update financial data to ensure that all information will be accurate and immediately available when required.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by GM and/or HO.
  • Maintains asset listing.
  • Prepare timely and accurate reporting to all local, state, and federal agencies, including tax remittances.

Admin Coordination:

  • Generating of POs
  • Billing/Purchasing
  • Renewal of all Insurance policies
  • Add/delete/update the employee list with the insurance companies
  • Performs other duties as required

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Technical Qualification / Certification

Knowledge of GAAP

Related Work Experience

5 years of previous work experience in similar roles
