Sales and Marketing Coordinator reports directly to the VP of Sales and will immediately contribute across the entire company, collaborating internally with the Sales, Marketing, Operations, Accounting, NPD and Design departments, as well as External Sales Partners, our China based Sourcing Team, Vendors and Customers. The ideal candidate is a passionate and personable team-player who is comfortable in a fast-paced (start-up) environment, with strong communication skills, a no drama - winning personality, and a desire to learn and grow within our company.
Job Duties:
Sales & Marketing Duties Include, but not limited to:
- Provide comprehensive sales support to the VP of Sales.
- Support Key Accounts and external sales representatives.
- Maintain and update Zoho CRM and PROJECT Software.
- Follow up with customers and track open orders.
- Work Directly with the Design Team to Create Sales Collateral and Presentation Decks
- Communicate with customers via email and CRM to provide sales collateral.
- Coordinate sample and mock-up requests.
- Manage tracking of product samples between China and US offices to international customers.
- Send invitations to our customers and schedule appointments to visit our tradeshow stand, launch new brands and introduce new product via Mailchimp / Constant Contact on schedule
- Assist with item setup at major accounts through vendor portals.
- Keep customers informed about domestic warehouse inventory using ZOHO INVENTORY ERP
- Track EDI transmissions, order confirmations, ASN, and electronic invoicing.
- Input and modify estimates, sales, and purchase orders in ZOHO ERP
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Manage tariff and duty classification for new product development.
- Coordinate and file testing reports and protocols from our China office.
- Collaborate with the China office to monitor production status and order fulfillment.
- Work with accounting to calculate and track monthly sales commissions.
- US and International Travel to attend trade shows, sales calls, and events when necessary.
- Social Media marketing, advertising, graphic and video content creation and management.
- Manage and create Email Marketing, Advertising, Brand Awareness campaigns
- Public Relations Management, Create press release content and distribution.
- E Comm: Google / Amazon / Shopify – Advertising, Promotion, Marketing of Product Brand Awareness
COMPENSATION:
- Annual salary - paid twice per month
- Working from our U.S. Headquarters, your standard work hours will be:
- Eight (8) hours per day / starting 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
- Travel for Tradeshows, and Sales Calls, should be expected of this position, but is not mandatory.
HEALTH INSURANCE:
- Employee Participation in the company health (UHC) and dental plan (BEAM) starting 90 days after start
- Company will contribute up to $500 per month for Health Insurance.
ANNUAL BONUS:
- Participation in the company Bonus plan
- Annual performance and compensation will be reviewed after 12 months.
PAID TIME OFF:
- Your paid time off compensation package will include:
- PTO: 10 Days (80 hours) per year (12 months / 52 weeks) from your start date to your anniversary date)
based on the following accrual period for example;
80 (hours) / 26 (pay periods) = 3.07 (accrued hours each pay period) for every pay period
an employee reaches, it adds 3.07 hours onto their Paid time off (PTO); Vacation / Sick time.
PTO FOR THE FOLLOWING HOLIDAYS:
- New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day
- Good Friday, and Easter (Monday)
- Memorial Day, Independence Day July 4th, Labor Day
- Thanksgiving and Black Friday
Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the Day after Christmas - Summer Hours: Office Closed at 1:00 pm Fridays from Memorial Day until Labor Day
