After School Instructors Needed! (San Diego)

We are hiring energetic and friendly instructors to deliver our after school program at an Elementary School in San Diego. We offer a hands-on after-school program for kids Grades K-5 that includes homework assistance and fun, simple hands-on projects/activities. We will provide complete on-the-job training as well.

Our instructors work together in teams of two or three with our students which makes it less stressful and more fun for both instructors and students!

Positions will start asap for the right candidates.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Position begins Monday, August 12 (preferable)
• Experience working with children.
• Must also be able to work comfortably in a team or independently.
• Must be comfortable implementing simple lesson plans to children from grades K-5 (lesson plans are given to all instructors or instructors are given freedom to create their own engaging curriculum and lesson plans as desired).
• Must pass a background check

This is a year round part-time opportunity. College students are encouraged to apply, as we are able to work with your class schedule semester by semester as your classes change.

HOURS:
Position 1: Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri: 2:00-5:00pm and Wed 12:00-5:00pm (17 hours/week with possibility of more)

COMPENSATION:

• $18-$22 per hour depending on experience
