Crayons 2 code provides immersive STEM education and entertainment to shape the young minds for a bright future through a very specialized set of hands-on programs centered around science & technology. Position Overview

At Crayons 2 Code, we devote every day to shaping young minds into life-long learners through an immersive Sci-Tech environment in a play-centered learning style.

We are looking for an experienced Teacher who has a passion for working with children. We are seeking dedicated teachers to join our team who can help guide students through their learning journey, implement our core values, and represent the vision and mission of Crayons 2 Code.

The ideal candidate will have experience in various educational settings and a passion for fostering learning and development in students.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement very innovative and science experiments based and/or hands-on STEM lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
  • Manage STEM activities for the session and space and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success.
  • Provide resources for children to use and explore during learning activities.
  • Adapt methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children.
  • Always provide appropriate supervision for children.
  • Maintain inventory for materials and supplies.
  • Maintain health/safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Adhere to the company policies, procedures and code of conduct.

Must Have Qualifications:

1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

2. Open to teaching via hands-on experiments and mini projects in educational setting.

3. All eligible candidates will have of the following:

(a) Bachelor’s degree in science, education or related field (OR)

(b) Experience in classroom instruction or tutoring to Elementary or Pre-K students (OR)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

1. Experience in Special Education and skills to work with kids with sensory and/or special needs.

2. Familiarity with Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Microsoft Office and other tech tools.
