Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interior Painter Subcontractor to join our team. As an Interior Painter Subcontractor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services for various residential and commercial projects. You will work independently or with a team to ensure all painting jobs are completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Surface Preparation:
   • Inspect and prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming.
   • Ensure all surfaces are smooth and ready for paint application.
2. Painting:
   • Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
   • Mix and match paint colors to meet customer specifications.
3. Quality Control:
   • Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets company standards and client expectations.
   • Touch up any imperfections and make necessary adjustments.
4. Customer Interaction:
   • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
   • Provide advice on color selection, finishes, and painting techniques.
5. Safety and Compliance:
   • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
   • Comply with company policies and local building codes and regulations.
6. Job Management:
   • Estimate the time and materials required for each project.
   • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
7. Equipment Maintenance:
   • Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment.
   • Ensure all equipment is in good working condition.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an interior painter, with a portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in various painting techniques and tools.
• Knowledge of surface preparation methods and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or formal training in painting or a related field.
• Experience with decorative finishes and specialty painting techniques.
• Familiarity with eco-friendly and low-VOC paints.
