Come join our team! Kilwins Chocolates Fudge & Ice cream in Fort Collins is now hiring for a part-time assistant manager for our store in Old Town Fort Collins in August. We are looking for an energetic, hard-working, trustworthy, and dependable individual with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will be able to perform in fast-paced environments, enjoys attention to the details, can adapt to seasonal trends, and assists the owner and general manager.

The assistant manager is responsible for delivery of Kilwins’s experiential culture, customer service, store conditions, cleanliness, sales targets, product quality, some hot cooking and/or dipping of chocolate products, cone production, ice cream drink and related preparation, some product inventory, and operations of the store.
This position requires leadership skills and experience in retail or hospitality operations.
The applicant must have a clear understanding of the store’s business goals and monitor, analyze and report on results as directed by the General Manager. They will spend 90% of their time on the sales floor driving sales, motivating team members, managing labor, overhead and food costs, and following the systems laid out by Kilwins and the Owner for staff training.
The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of all retail systems. Responsibilities include delivering a caring Kilwins experience to customers, employee supervision, training and development, store merchandising, quality control, merchandising, product packaging, and continuous improvement.
Applicants MUST have 2-years of prior experience in retail/food service leadership/management and must be flexible and available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have good communication skills, be able to stand for long periods of time, and lift 50 pounds.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour plus shared day’s credit card gratuity pool and cash gratuities during specific shift.
Expected hours: 25-35 hours per week; subject to change based on seasons and shifts picked up.
