1. HS diploma/equivalent.
2. Military Avionics Technical School Certification.
3. Equivalent Civilian Avionics Technical School Certification.

1. Perform mechanical and/or electrical inspections, certifications, tests, and calibrations, on aircraft and its support equipment (i.e. torque wrenches, pressure gauges, pitot static test sets, calipers/micrometer, multimeters, battery chargers/analyzers, etc.).
2. With limited assistance, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical test equipment.
3. Onsite calibrations and testing of customer aircraft & support equipment at CONUS & OCONUS locations.
4. Maintenance of quality records.
5. Conduct process audits.
6. Correction of problems to prevent the calibration/testing of aircraft support equipment.
7. Conform with all PMI processes & procedures.
8. Pass initial & random drug screening.
9. Obtain &/or maintain a US Secret Clearance.
10. Eligible to receive a US Passport.

1. Advanced troubleshooting tools such as IFR6000, & Pitot static test sets.
2. Airframe or Airframe & Powerplant license.
3. Provide feedback to customers explaining calibration/testing process techniques & methodologies.
4. Production of calibrations in an ISO/IEC17025 environment.
5. Understanding of ANSI/NCSL Z540-2-1997 calibration system requirements.
6. Knowledge of ISO 9001, & AS9100.
