Camp Mona, located at The Hampton Synagogue in beautiful Westhampton Beach, is seeking a mature and responsible Progressive Swimming Instructor who meets all NYS Department of Health requirements or is willing to meet them before starting, to provide campers ages 2-5 with a safe, fun, and exciting camp experience. The position runs from July 18 - August 30, 2024.

You will assess the swimming ability of each camper prior to allowing the child to participate in aquatic activities and teach campers how to swim.

You must be either:

(1) a Water Safety Instructor currently certified by the American Red Cross; or

(2) possess a current certificate issued by a certifying agency determined by the State Commissioner of Health to provide an adequate level of similar training.

You should love working with children, be patient, flexible, collaborative, enthusiastic, and able to maintain calm in all situations.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-3:00pm

Salary: $25/hour
