An Experienced Mechanic at SV is responsible for:

• Maintaining, both preventive and corrective, Ride and other mechanical systems.
• Enthusiastically represents the organization by displaying a positive attitude, maintaining a high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
• Troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing park equipment.
• Participating in testing, verification and/or calibration of applicable mechanical systems.
• Perform facilities maintenance functions to include but not limited to the following: carpentry, plumbing, repair of culinary equipment, minor concrete repair, and slide maintenance.
• Responding to downtimes with ride recovery related issues.
• Diagnosing system failures and providing immediate and long-term corrective action, which involves researching defective items/parts. This includes logical and extensive troubleshooting and referring to technical manuals while using a systematic approach.
• Performing modifications to ride vehicles as directed by the SV Maintenance Director/Owner/GM.
• Performing assembly and disassembly for annual inspections and verifying quality control/NDT requirements have been met.
• Logging completion of inspection, corrective action, and/or repairs made and listing applicable parts used.
• Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established SV policies, procedures, and training.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
