<p><strong>An Experienced Mechanic</strong>&nbsp;at SV is responsible for:</p><ul><li>Maintaining, both preventive and corrective, Ride and other mechanical systems.</li><li>Enthusiastically represents the organization by displaying a positive attitude, maintaining a high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.</li><li>Troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing park equipment.</li><li>Participating in testing, verification and/or calibration of applicable mechanical systems.</li><li>Perform facilities maintenance functions to include but not limited to the following: carpentry, plumbing, repair of culinary equipment, minor concrete repair, and slide maintenance.</li><li>Responding to downtimes with ride recovery related issues.</li><li>Diagnosing system failures and providing immediate and long-term corrective action, which involves researching defective items/parts. This includes logical and extensive troubleshooting and referring to technical manuals while using a systematic approach.</li><li>Performing modifications to ride vehicles as directed by the SV Maintenance Director/Owner/GM.</li><li>Performing assembly and disassembly for annual inspections and verifying quality control/NDT requirements have been met.</li><li>Logging completion of inspection, corrective action, and/or repairs made and listing applicable parts used.</li><li>Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health &amp; Safety responsibilities by following established SV policies, procedures, and training.</li><li>Performing other duties as assigned.<br><br>&nbsp;</li></ul>
