**Overview:**
We are seeking an enthusiastic bartender to join our team at Thirsty Isle. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our patrons while being able to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):**

1. **Customer Service:**
- Greet customers warmly and engage in friendly conversations

2. **Beer Knowledge:**
- Have a basic understanding of different beer styles, and flavor profiles.
- Stay updated on new arrivals, seasonal offerings, and special releases.

3. **Basic Bartending Skills:**
- Pour beers with proper technique to ensure optimal taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including taps, barware, and glassware.

4. **Teamwork:**
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in stocking inventory and maintaining par levels of beer supplies.
- Work together to handle busy periods and maintain high standards of service.

5. **Regulatory Compliance:**
- Adhere to all local and state regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
- Verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated or underage customers when necessary.

6. **Upselling and Promotion:**
- Promote featured beers, special events, and promotions to increase sales.
- Upsell premium or seasonal beers and encourage customers to try new offerings.

**Requirements:**
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy cases of beer.
- Certification required: Food Handlers Card, Responsible Beverage Service (RBS), etc.
