We are looking for a pesticide chemist familiar with Agilent LC-MS QQQ.

The responsibilities of the Analytical Chemist include performing quality control tests in the lab, test and calibrate lab instrumentation in preparation for performing specific analyses, prepare samples for testing, follow all company policies and procedures to ensure impartiality, data integrity and quality control, analyze data and prepare reports for laboratory management, recognize and report any deviations from quality systems, receive and perform analyses on the various types of samples delivered to the laboratory. The highest responsibilities are to adhere to SOPs, report any deviations from expected quality controls to their supervisor, to minimize errors during the testing and data reporting processes, and develop non-conformance reports with corrective actions to deliver satisfactory services to our clients and quality standards of our results.

Required Qualifications, Training & Skills

Must be self-motivated, energetic and able to work in a fast-paced analytical testing laboratory environment to meet deadlines. Must have a deep understanding of analytical techniques in chemistry, instrument troubleshoot, instrument maintenance and method development, including quantitative analysis using LCMS-QQQ, Analytical Chemists must be able to demonstrate capability in participating and passing annual Performance Testing of their analysis. This position requires the candidates to have adequate statistical analysis skills, good concept of validation, quantification, accuracy/variation, and organizational skills. Candidates must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; have strong trouble-shooting, computer and record keeping skills and problem-solving skills.

Desired Additional Skills

Demonstrate expertise in sample chain-of-custody procedures, should be aware of emerging analytical techniques, experienced in LIMS, familiar with ISO and GLP requirements is favorable. Familiar with Agilent LCMS-QQQ, Instrumentations.

Required Education, Expertise & Experience

BS degree in chemistry / biochemistry from a recognized 4-year University with 1-3 years relevant analytical instrumentation experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills, willingness to meet obligations as needed and previously demonstrated successful ability to contribute in a team environment are essential.
