TKFC Philosophy: TKFC club is focused on producing footballers (soccer players) with cognitive ability as well as playing ability. Depending on the age group, our TKFC coaches aim to equip all club players with technical and tactical abilities in order to increase individual and team success. At our club’s recreation stage, all players are taught fundamental game techniques such as dribbling, passing, shooting and playing out of the back. During the travel soccer stage, we focus on providing a competitive, team-oriented curriculum that will educate and equip club players in the tactical approach to the game, whilst improving their individual skill set.

Job Summary:

Touch Kings Football Club is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Youth Soccer Coach to join our team and lead a team of young soccer players. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and fun learning environment, developing players' skills and knowledge of the game, and fostering a love for soccer.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate training sessions that focus on fundamental soccer skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Lead practices, including warm-ups, drills, scrimmages, and games.
• Coach teams during games and tournaments, providing tactical guidance and encouragement.
• Motivate and inspire young athletes to reach their full potential.
• Provide constructive feedback to players on their performance.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all players during practices and games.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding team schedules, practices, games, and player progress.
• Attend coaches' meetings and training sessions as required.
• May be responsible for assisting with administrative tasks related to the team.

Qualifications:

• Playing experience in soccer (preferred)
• Prior coaching experience with youth soccer (desired)
• Strong knowledge of soccer rules, strategies, and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes
• Ability to create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive team environment
• Patience and understanding when working with young children
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
