Class Half Full is looking to interview tutors for the 2024-2025 school year! We are celebrating our 9th year working with students in grades K-12 in Chapel Hill and Carrboro. Tutors can be college-age students/grad students or anyone older who lives in Chapel Hill or Carrboro Tutoring experience or past work with children required. 2 references needed.

ALL materials/information are provided to the tutor before job begins.

We find students for you who match YOUR schedule.

You pick the subjects you are most comfortable teaching.

All subjects needed. Most popular ones include all maths, upper-level sciences, ACT/SAT review, organization skills, elementary school reading, etc.

Sessions are typically one hour and are usually held once a week per student but may vary. Sessions are held in the student's home in Chapel Hill or Carrboro (with an adult in the house) or sometimes at the Chapel Hill Public Library. Car required.

• Tutors get paid every two weeks by CHF!
• We handle all payments/invoicing for you.
• You also still get paid if the client "forgets" about a session or cancels too late!
• Pay is $20/hour.
