Lead Line Cook Nights Weekends Required 
 

The lead line cook will assist in overseeing hourly, back of house staff and assist in the day-to-day operations in all areas of the kitchen including production, prep and receiving. The lead line cook will be able to effectively lead the kitchen, and solve issues that may arise. The ideal candidate has the ability to work calmly under pressure.

She/He would report to the Executive Chef and General Managers, but will also need to self manage. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have the ability to multi-task while remaining focused on food quality and problem solve quickly
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Has the ability to work in an organized manner
  • Line checks every shift ensuring all kitchen stations are completely ready prior to service
  • Maintains high standards of quality and appearance of all food preparation and presentation 
  • Ensures food tickets are completed in a timely manner
  • Ensures cleanliness and high sanitation standards are maintained at all times
  • Ensure proper procedures are met when heating cooling and storage of all food items at all times
  • Ensure Compliance with all sanitation standards, and HACCP protocols
  • Assist in maintaining stock rooms and walk-in refrigerators remain clean and organized 
  • Properly returns and stores all food items to designated storage areas at the end of the every shift 
  • Performs all miscellaneous duties assigned by upper management as needed
