Our client is seeking a quality assurance and compliance manager/internal auditor! 

If you have a minimum of five years of experience in title and escrow and would like to make a change to audit services and agency support or have audit experience, please apply!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·   Perform on-site and remote audits in nine states.

·   Provide training, underwriting, and closing support to independent agents.

·   Collaborate with leadership team to achieve company goals and ensure effective oversight of agents.

·   Contribute to technology development initiatives.

·   Oversee agent audit and compliance program.

·   Analyze data to identify new oversight criteria and techniques.

·   Review agent reports and information from various sources to identify high-risk agents and create an auditing schedule.

·   Develop and enhance the company's web-based underwriting system to improve service, agent oversight, and administrative efficiency.

·   Promote and train agents on ALTA Best Practices

·   Coordinate with appropriate resources for premium remittance.

·   Recommend agency terminations when appropriate.

·   Conduct new agent review and onboarding processes.

·   Collaboration with and supporting various departments as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

·   Thorough knowledge of escrow and accounting practices for title companies

·   Understanding of title underwriting standards

·   Familiarity with closing and title search processes

·   Effective communication skills in both oral and written form, in person and by phone

·   Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, expressing ideas and suggestions.

·   Receptiveness to new business approaches and technology

·   Experience with 3-way reconciliations: book, bank, and trial balance.

·   Familiarity with closing and title search processes

·   Proficiency in a variety of software products and aptitude for learning new systems.

·   Ability to balance agent accountability with the need to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

·   Capability to self-direct and multi-task in a high-stress environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

·   Five plus years of direct experience working in the title industry.

·   Proficient in Microsoft applications

·   Proficient with at least one title software

·   QuickBooks proficiency a plus

·   Must be open to travel.

·   Preference given to candidates willing to work in-office in Denver, Colorado. Consideration will be given to candidates located in the Mountain time zone.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

  • Salary $70,000 to 110,000 commensurate with experience
  • Health, 401K with match, dental, PTO and holidays.
