Duties:

• Safely and efficiently deliver goods to designated locations within local and regional areas.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle
• Follow routes and schedules provided by dispatch
• Perform heavy lifting as needed
• Operate delivery vehicles such as vans, trucks, box trucks, and trailers
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain accurate delivery records
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Familiarity with using forklifts and pallet jacks
• Familiarity with GPS devices or navigation apps
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to use a liftgate
• Must have experience driving vans, trucks, and box trucks
• Must have experience driving with a trailer attached
• Ability to manage 8+ hour round trips
• Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and some weekends

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 20 per week

Day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
