Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lead Teacher to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and dedicated to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment. We are servicing students aged 6 weeks old - 12 years old. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational and emotional needs of our children.
  • Lead a classroom team with a focus on creating a nurturing and stimulating environment.
  • Assess developmental needs and adjust the curriculum to meet individual goals.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with parents and caregivers, including regular updates and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with state, local, and academy regulations regarding the education and safety of our children.
  • Mentor and support assistant teachers and staff to enhance team performance and development.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.
  • Positive attitude and a profound love for children.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $9.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
