Job Title: Massage Therapist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. Ashiatsu, Reiki, Vibrational Sound Therapy a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Perform various types of massages including deep tissue, Swedish, and sports massages
- Conduct patient assessments to determine the most suitable massage techniques
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to tailor treatments to individual needs
- Assist in acute pain management and provide relief for chronic conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and exercises for continued wellness
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist
- Proficiency in patient service with excellent communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and occupational health
- Expertise in deep tissue massage and pain management techniques

- Ability to operate scheduling software
- Ability to perform physical examinations and assess patient conditions accurately

- A self starter and self promoter willing to build a clientele.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with physical therapy practices
- Experience in working with diverse patient populations
- Certification in specialized massage modalities

- Willingness to learn Vibrational Sound Therapy, Reiki, and/or Ashiatsu

We are a wife & husband team seeking collaborators in a unique wellness company. We are looking for persons willing to remain self-employed with a 70/30 split. 70% goes to you, and the 30% covers the space, sheets, laundry facilities, fractionated coconut oil massage medium, adjustable tables, scheduling software, small kitchen/break area, and access to our sauna. We're willing to swap services or provide services for a discount. As a self-employed person, you're required to manage your own taxes, CEs, and healthcare. We also offer a flexible schedule Monday thru Friday. We often have wellness events in our intimate event space on varied evenings. If you're a group wellness event facilitator, let's talk! We are a strict no-tipping facility. We believe we are healthcare providers, and keep our rates reasonable, and our exchange with team members on the higher side than other local businesses. No awkward tipping moments at check out, and you don't have to depend on the uncertainty of the tipping economy to eek by.
