About Us

Saint Paul Methodist Church, a Global Methodist congregation, is located in downtown Goldsboro and offers a wonderful opportunity to serve in a faithful, Christ-centered environment. The mission of Saint Paul is to Worship God, Grow in Faith, and Serve Others in the name of Christ. We are launching the McPhail Conservatory of Sacred Music as a new ministry area at Saint Paul in August 2024. The vision for the McPhail Conservatory of Sacred Music is to Build a vibrant community, Educate faithfully, and Minister through the power of music. 

We are seeking dedicated and talented Private Lesson Instructors to serve as teachers for the school beginning in August. Our Instructor positions will be part-time contracted positions that allow for flexible scheduling. The school will provide Instructors with pre-selected curriculum, as well as additional funds for supplemental materials.

• Piano Instructor
• Voice Instructor
• Drum set Instructor
• Guitar Instructor

Compensation

• $40 an hour

Qualifications

• Proficiency and experience teaching in their instructional instrument area
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for music education and a nurturing spirit 
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages and skill levels

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one private lessons to students
• Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with the Sacred School of Music team
