Description

Are you a skilled massage therapist looking to join a dynamic team in the hospitality industry? We are seeking a friendly and experienced Massage Therapist to provide exceptional service to our guests. As a Massage Therapist, you will have the opportunity to create a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for our guests, enhancing their overall well-being during their stay.

Your primary responsibility will be to perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and hot stone, according to guest preferences and needs. You will also have the chance to collaborate with other professionals in our spa department, such as estheticians and nail technicians, to deliver comprehensive wellness services.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage techniques, focusing on relaxation and therapeutic goals
• Assess guest needs and preferences to customize massage treatments accordingly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and tranquil treatment room environment
• Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation to ensure the safety and comfort of guests
• Educate guests on the benefits of massage therapy and proper self-care techniques
• Collaborate with other spa professionals to provide comprehensive wellness experiences
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and techniques and incorporate them into your practice

Requirements

• Valid Massage Therapist license/certification
• Minimum [2 years] experience in a professional spa or wellness center
• Proficient in a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and hot stone
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and positive demeanor
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Shasta Strong is looking for Certified Massage Therapists dedicated to bringing health and wellness to a thriving community- specialty massage practices encouraged. Our wellness spa is comprised of knowledgeable and professional team of health and wellness professionals.

Job duties include adhering to CAMTC guidelines and creating a 5 star experience for all clients and hotel guests. Massage therapists are required to clean their work stations and ensure room is ready and client is seen to the table on time to start session at scheduled appointment time. We hope to hire the most talented body workers, so we encourage specialized and continuing education.
