The Cheyenne Company is looking for a detail oriented project estimator to support a fast-growing family business. The individual in this position will collaborate closely with our sales team to coordinate all aspects of our bids, material takeoffs, and value engineering exercises.

In this role, you will work on a wide range of projects across the United States, from luxury residential developments, to golf clubs, country clubs, assisted living facilities, mixed-use developments, and more!

Responsibilities include:

• Analyze project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates using STACK estimating software
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to understand project requirements
• Identify and anticipate project requirements
• Recommend cost-saving or time-reducing options
• Collaborate with customers and vendors as required
• Maintain records of project documentation

• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Enjoys solving complex challenges
• Excellent writing and grammar skills
• Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft suite and STACK
• Previous on-the-job training a big plus
• Customer-first approach

• Quick learner with excellent time management skills
• Strong written and oral communication
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Great attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $75,000 per year
