We are seeking a part time teacher’s assistant for the fall. We have 2 classes available. Hours will be consistent, and candidate can choose from 7 to 25 hours a week.

Education and Experience:

This position requires a High School diploma and one year of experience working with preschool aged children is preferred. Must be 18 or over.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Some of the duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all children
• Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
• Implementing lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the children
• Perform all jobs and tasks within guidelines and rules of District’s safety program
