Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic candidate to be Craft Axe Lexington's new Front Counter/Bartender team member. This is a part time position and we are looking for a candidate who is AT LEAST 21 years old. Starting pay (depending on experience) is $10 to $12 plus tips.

Duties:

• Checking customers in
• Making sure participants are signing waivers completely
• Greet and escort customers to lanes
• Change/spray target boards upon request
• Check and change targets between groups/as needed
• Know and enforce safety rules
• Ensure that every guest:
• A: Has a good time
• B: Sticks the axe
• Provide instruction on safety and how to throw
• Monitor guests and provide a safe, fun, and entertaining experience
• Identify & assist guests who need extra focus
• Make routine check-ins on guests and ask if you can help with anything/offer to take photos
• Utilize core values to execute the company mission (to create memorable experiences for our team and guests so they can’t wait to tell their friends)
• Push sales and encourage reviews
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Help any customers at the bar and making sure we are serving customers responsibly.
• Stocking fridges with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Maintaining a neat and tidy bar area.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role preferred
• Familiarity with Square POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
