Pay rate: $16-$18 (dependent on experience/test scores)
(The pay is reviewed after 90 days or earlier if you rock it!).

Hours: Full-time (plus occasional OT opportunities) between the hours of 9am - 5:30pm (There will be more flexibility with hours once you are past the probationary period, as long as you make deadlines and meetings.)

Job Responsibilities:
Include but not limited to
-Receipt Auditing
-Accessing/using Excel and QuickBooks
-Franchise specific reporting platforms/reporting
-Entering Bills/Invoices/Receipts from Vendors/Customers
-Extensive deposits/matching
-Reconciling Accounts/Vendor Statements
-Data Entry
-Clerical Duties (opening mail/filing/etc)

Work Environment:
We are a small business bookkeeping firm specializing in one restaurant franchise (soon to be two!) We have a small staff (currently four of us) that work as a team to complete the workflow but work individually in most aspects. Although the work is fast paced, the office is pretty laid back and quiet. We have two full-time office cats; Milo is a temporary foster and is chill and keeps to himself for the most part and Georgie who is a bit of an a$$hole and thinks your keyboard and desk space belongs to him. Everyone's daily attire is casual, jeans and a t-shirt or whatever you are comfortable in (within reason, my dad does visit occasionally).

Requirements:

Desirable Skills for the higher pay range (willing to train at the lower starting rate):
-Hand-on bookkeeping experience/knowledge
-QuickBooks Desktop Experience (we use 2018-2022 currently)
-Additional Schooling for Accounting/Bookkeeping
-Intermediate Excel Knowledge
