Job Description: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Seasonal Holiday Decor Manager to join our team. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing holiday decorations for our esteemed clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior decorating, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a small team of decorators. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Client Consultation and Planning: 
  • Meet with clients to understand their vision and preferences for holiday decor. 
  • Develop detailed decoration plans that align with client expectations and high-end aesthetics. 
  • Design and Execution: 
  • Create and present holiday decor proposals, including themes, color schemes, and materials. 
  • Oversee the setup and takedown of holiday decorations, ensuring impeccable quality and attention to detail. 
  • Recruit, train, and manage a small team of decorators to assist with installation and removal. 
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: 
  • Develop and manage budgets for each project, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. 
  • Track expenses, handle invoicing, and ensure timely payments from clients. 
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to holiday decorating projects. 
  • Project Coordination: 
  • Source and procure decor items, materials, and equipment needed for installations. 
  • Coordinate logistics for timely delivery and setup of decorations. 
  • Ensure all projects are completed within agreed timelines and to the highest standards. 
  • Customer Service: 
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client questions and concerns promptly. 
  • Conduct post-decoration follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in interior decorating, with a portfolio showcasing previous holiday decor projects. 
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for understanding and executing client visions. 
  • Proficiency in budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking. 
  • Creative flair and attention to detail, ensuring high-end, aesthetically pleasing results. 
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively. 
  • Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, during peak holiday seasons. 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in interior decorating or a related field. 
  • Must be able to lift 25+ pounds 
  • Must have computer skills (PC & MAC) and be capable of learning and successfully using new programs.   
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in holiday decorating. 
  • Physical ability to lift and move decor items and equipment. 
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. 

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES: 

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to achieve the Company’s standards and goals as efficiently as possible. Bi-weekly check-ins and quarterly reviews are mandatory.
