We are seeking an additional Medical Assistant  to become a part of our team! You will perform administrative and clinical duties to give the best care possible to our patients and to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Responsibilities:

• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks working directly with patients
• Communicate with patients, insurance companies and pharmacies
• Efficient use of the electronic medical records (EMR) system
• Perform drug and alcohol testing after being trained

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare, preferably family practice or internal medicine
• Familiarity working with electronic medical records and great computer skills
• Knowledge of medicines and an  E-prescribing system
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• You must enjoy doing a wide variety of duties - both patient care and administrative.
