KCMCONNECT is an LA based fashion + lifestyle public relations and marketing

agency specializing in building brands with purpose and passion. We provide media and

personal relations, influencer marketing, brand activation and events, and more. If you

are looking for hands-on experience in a fun, upbeat, and positive working environment,

this internship is right for you! We provide interns with the amazing opportunity to get

valuable experience learning more than just the basics of fashion public relations and

strategic marketing. We are looking for remote interns with availability of 2-3 full days

per week. Previous fashion PR internship experience is a plus but not required. 

This is an unpaid internship, but college credit is offered.

Responsibilities:

 Assist publicist in their daily activities; general administrative duties

 Brainstorming and writing pitches

 Research & outreach to influencers for gifting

 Research fashion and lifestyle blogs, websites, and more for client placements

 Researching and identifying trends

 Constant outlook for any placements of our client’s products in media/outlets and

social media

 Press clips

 Help maintain and update media lists

Requirements:

 A minimum of three months commitment is required

 Strong knowledge of fashion and lifestyle influencers

 Strong knowledge or familiarity of fashion and lifestyle media/outlets

 Awareness of current trends

 Be a self-starter and highly motivated

 Strong follow-through

 Be a team player

 Be able to contribute creative ideas

 Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

 Be organized and detail-oriented

 Have great research skills and be a problem solver

 Have strong verbal and written communication skills

 Must be able to formulate thoughtful questions and take notes efficiently

 Must be able to take initiative on projects and work independently

 Outgoing, positive, honest, loyal and dependable

 Owns laptop to use during internship

 Proficiency with MAC/PC Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Google Drive, and Canva
