UGARLAND, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - A family in the Sugarland/Rosenberg area is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER for their large active household and three children; 9-year-old twins and a 14-year-old. The parents have split custody of the twins, so they are in the home every other week, but the 14-year-old lives with the family full-time.
This role requires someone who is comfortable with high-energy activities like hikes and bike rides, enjoys cooking whole foods, and is capable of managing household tasks efficiently. This family prefers someone currently employed as a nanny with significant experience.
These parents are seeking a candidate who is comfortable working heavy weeks while the twins are with them, and then significantly lighter weeks while the twins are away. The candidate needs to be willing to provide flexibility with their schedule and the family will guarantee full-time consistent pay for the right candidate.
Both parents are working professionals who travel monthly for work and candidates should be comfortable staying with the children in the family home overnights as needed. There is a private bedroom and bathroom for the nanny in the home when overnights are required. This family also travels to their ranch in the Hill Country and would like candidates who understand and are comfortable with living an active ranching lifestyle.
Duties include school pick-ups, driving to activities, assisting with homework, and whole food meal preparation for the children (the family avoids frozen or fast foods). Responsibilities also include tidying the children's spaces, laundry for the kids, and light housekeeping. The job also includes taking care of a medium to large-sized dog and being open to running errands and assisting with daily household management tasks.
