Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining communication with drivers and customers.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize transportation management systems to schedule and dispatch drivers for freight delivery
- Communicate effectively with drivers, providing necessary information and instructions
- Monitor driver progress and provide support as needed
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving departments to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Assist in fleet management by tracking vehicle maintenance schedules

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in DAT one or similar dispatching software
- Strong phone etiquette skills for effective communication with drivers and customers
- 5 years of experience in dispatching, freight, or transportation management preferred
- Familiarity with transportation management systems is a plus
- Ability to type quickly and accurately to input data efficiently
