Performance Excellence Partners, LLC (PEP) is seeking a full-time Student Manager to support the mission of U.S. Air Force at Maxwell Air Force Base, the Commanders’ Professional Development School at the Eaker Center through administration and student management support of the Leader Development Course for Squadron Command which is a world-class, transformational educational experience to officers, enlisted and civilians selected to assume squadron command positions. This position will manage all aspects of student logistics (lodging, per diem, transportation, etc), to create a positive learning experience and will serve as the face of the support staff to students enrolling in the Course. The Student Manager will setup and host lunches and assist not only students but distinguished visitors and instructors. This position requires excellent people skills, willingness to serve and to make the experience exceptional.
As a Student Manager, you will:
- Build classes, allocate quotas, register, and graduate students in the AU registration system, course and the learning content/management system as needed.
- Serve as course support function to track academic progress and validate program completion.
- Coordinate with MAJCOM training requirement managers on student requirements.
- Update AU systems and SharePoint sites with course changes and student reporting instructions.
- Conduct primary regular interaction with students regarding course enrollment, school welcome, lodging, transportation, and other information.
- Coordinate local student lodging and transportation requirements as needed.
- Provide monthly statistics covering enrollments, drops and graduations to the course directors.
- Graduate the students by processing their names for insertion in military and civilian personnel data system and AU systems.
- Collect, record and provide a brief summary gathered by student feedback forms.
- Provide weekly status reports and attend faculty development meetings/trainings.
- Assist instructors and Eaker Center faculty where needed during class execution.
- Coordinate on DV lodging and transportation requirements as needed.
- Establish contact with off-site venues for off-site activities (ex: Eateries in specified areas and the Tuskegee Air museum).
- Attend planning sessions to determine training requirements.
To do this job well, you will:
- Have at least two years of professional experience in student management and/or training administration.
- Have U.S. Citizenship.
- Have experience working with the military (e.g., working as a civilian in a military environment or engaging with military organizations) and a solid understanding of military culture and structure.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
- Be a detail-oriented, motivated self-starter with the ability to work alone and with a team.
- Have exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Have excellent communication (written and oral), customer service, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Be available to work onsite during normal working hours at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, 481 Williamson St. Bldg 1110, Gunter Annex, AL 36114 with occasional remote work.

Salary: $18.00 - $19.00/hour
