Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and experienced Toddler Room Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a warm, engaging, and educational environment for children aged 1-3 years old. You will play a crucial role in supporting their developmental milestones, encouraging social skills, and fostering a love for learning through play-based activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, emotional, physical, and social development.
- Child Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom at all times.
- Interaction and Engagement: Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where each child feels valued and respected.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and caregivers regarding their child’s progress, daily activities, and any concerns.
- Observation and Assessment: Monitor and document each child’s progress and developmental milestones, and adjust activities to meet individual needs.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment, and manage any behavioral issues with patience and understanding.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience for all children.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience working with toddlers in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create and maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
