Job Title: Professional Design Intern

We are seeking a Professional Design Intern to join our team who is eager to learn and gain hands-on experience Candidate must be proactive, enthusiastic about design, and willing to embrace new challenges. Our ideal candidate will posses flexibility and be multifaceted, contribute digital designs and other creative elements for a variety of website designs, apps, and deliverables. You will be working with multiple teams of designers, developers, and product managers to deliver creative solutions. 

Qualified candidates should have a strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suites and be able to provide a portfolio showcasing their work. If you have the willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams, a desire to grow professionally in a dynamic environment, gain hands-on design experience we encourage you to apply for this opportunity. Qualifications: 

• Understand the fundamental principles of design
• Knowledge of designing and producing:
  • Desktop and mobile websites
  • UX Design
  • Presentation Software
  • Some Video and Editing Experience
  • UI and workflow wireframes for developer production
  • Social Media Asset Production
  • Portfolio of Web/Interactive Work
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator Photoshop, After Effects)
• Web Development Tools Figma, XD
• Strong layout and typography skills
• Detail Oriented
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to take direction and constructive feedback
• Ability to work independently within a team
• Strong commitment to career and advancement

Bonus Points Proficiencies:

• Record of success designing and producing:
  • Web and mobile applications
  • Branding elements (e.g., logos, signage, business cards, letterhead)
  • Physical advertising (e.g., brochures, catalogs, posters/banners, mailers)

Duration/Hours/Location/Compensation:

• July 1st, 2024 - September 30th, 2024
• Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
• In-office position - Hauppauge, NY 
• $20.00 per hour
