Shop Floor Assistant 

We are looking for a few talented individuals ready to work 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday – learning the art of producing quality architectural signage. Positions are available operating light industrial equipment, to assemble, paint and lacquer, and applying trained craftsmanship to jobs in process in a variety of production stages. 

Responsibilities: 

• Reading and understanding the work order
• Verifying dimensions and product specifications provided on the work order 
• Ensuring that all parts are built exactly from the work order specifications 
• Ensuring quality standards are met 
• Take priority, schedule, and maintain production activities to meet production objectives on time
• Monitor inventory to ensure building material is in stock 

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in production, or a manufacturing environment preferred 
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must be able to follow standard directions and collaborate successfully with others
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
