EEC Certified Lead Teacher

Tiny Hands Enrichment Center Inc. (T.H.E.C) is seeking an experienced EEC Certified Lead Teacher to join our team.  With over 13 years of dedicated service, T.H.E.C has transitioned from an in-home daycare to a comprehensive childcare center, committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children. The Lead Teacher will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality early childhood education, fostering a love for learning, and contributing to the unique approach of Tiny Hands Enrichment Center. 

Responsibilities-

Classroom Leadership:

  • Assume the lead role in the classroom, creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans in accordance with EEC guidelines.

Child Development:

  • Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities and experiences. 
  • Individualize instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of each child. 

Curriculum Implementation:

  • Align curriculum with EEC standards and Tiny Hands Enrichment Center's philosophy. 
  • Integrate play-based learning to encourage curiosity and exploration. 

Parent Communication:

  • Establish and maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding child progress, activities, and developmental milestones. 
  • Conduct regular parent-teacher conferences to discuss individual child development and address any concerns. 

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance the overall program and maintain a cohesive learning environment.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Classroom Management:

  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive and safe learning space.
  • Uphold a supportive atmosphere that aligns with the philosophy of Tiny Hands Enrichment Center.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with EEC regulations and maintain accurate records, including attendance, assessments, and progress reports. 

Qualifications-

  • EEC Lead Teacher Certification
  • Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience.
  • Familiarity with EEC regulations and standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for providing high-quality, individualized childcare.
