Location: Milwaukee, WI or Minneapolis, MN

As a STARmed America Associate Sales Rep, you will meet with clients throughout your assigned territory as a subject matter expert and strategically promote and sell STARmed products that meet our customers' needs. You will be performing product evaluations in the operating room and office settings while persuasively demonstrating the value of our products.

Position Summary-

The associate sales representative's primary goal is to maximize revenue and ensure profitability for the allocated territory. They will interact with physicians, procedure room staff, and hospital purchasing to ensure adoption of the devices by medical centers and reordering of the product regularly.

This position involves cold calling new potential clients creating a database of potential customers for different business sectors, client business referrals, or web leads. Provide prospective customers/clients with products offered and an explanation of our solutions. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue.

End-user experience is vital, so the associate sales representative will be particularly attentive to medical personnel comments and ensure that their experience with STARmed devices is positive. This encompasses actual users as well as support staff, such as purchasing departments. The associate sales representative will primarily raise issues to the Regional Manager and National Sales Manager as appropriate.

Duties and Responsibilities-

  • Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
  • Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients
  • Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, trade-shows, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients
  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support
  • Presenting and delivering information to potential clients
  • Answering potential client questions and follow-up questions
  • Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
  • Building and maintaining a Pipeline of prospects
  • Maintaining a database (CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information for all business segments
  • Promote and sell STARmed products to Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, Endocrinologists and other specialties as products are launched
  • Educate and inform physicians and appropriate medical staff as to the proper use of STARmed products
  • Provide clinical support to accounts as needed.
  • Direct Product evaluations in the operating room, procedure room, and office settings
  • Assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings
  • Assist in the training and development of future sales personnel
  • Solve product-related problems with customers
  • Assist with accounts receivable

Qualifications-

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 1 year of medical sales experience, device or supplies sold to hospitals or private practice. Experience with at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience/field support of medical device will be considered. Bachelor's degree in applicable health or science fields will be considered without sales experience.
  • Ability to be credentialed/have access privileges in all assigned customer accounts with major 3rd party credentialing companies. (Includes submitting background check information, vaccination records, company provided training documents, etc.)
  • Ability to influence clinical decision-making process through sales efforts, including presentation and discussion of clinical data.
  • Valid state driver's license and passport.

Working Conditions-

This job is a field-based position. The employee will be responsible for working daily in hospitals, doctors' offices, and other medical establishments within the assigned multi-state territory. Will at times be required to work atypical hours (evenings and weekends) based on customer and or business needs.

Physical Requirements-

This position requires the employee to sit, stand, walk, talk, listen, and speak regularly. It may occasionally be required to stoop and bend, as well as lift 50lb equipment. Must be able to drive an automobile and travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
