Job Summary

The Sales Executive, through direct interaction with customers, closes highly profitable energy deals and informs customers of Dynegy and Homefield Energy products and services in the assigned geographic territory. The location for the right candidate is flexible within the Northeast and Mid-West regions, preferably Collinsville, IL, Cincinnati, OH, Columbus, OH, King of Prussia, PA, or Akron, OH.

 

Job Description

Respond to and perform a variety of functions including:

  • Meet or exceed company sales and customer service objectives
  • Use a variety of techniques to identify potential business customers
  • Work with customers to negotiate energy deals that benefit both Dynegy and Homefield Energy and the customer
  • Work with management to refine sales strategy to optimize efficiency and results
  • Analyze customer historical energy usage to develop deal proposals
  • Deliver proposals and presentations outlining customer needs and deals
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer information with sales operations
  • Work with other depts to ensure customer accounts are handled efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Remain current on competitive intelligence and energy industry trends
  • Ability to negotiate credit & contract provisions with customers
  • Close energy transactions with customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Remains current on competitive intelligence and energy industry trends
  • Ad hoc Reporting in response to client specific requests for customer counts, enrollments, drops or rejections. 
  • Prior Energy experience preferred. 

Compensation: Starts at $75,000 plus bonus, comprehensive benefits, 401K, profit sharing, and tuition reimbursement.
