We are looking for drivers with a Class B CDL license and non-CDL drivers.
• Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday
• Pay based on driving experience and license
• Clean driving record is a must.
This is a job that demands a certain amount of dynamism and adaptability. The trucks are an important aspect of the business, and they need to be driven safely and respectfully. However, the amount of time spent driving is minimal to the workday.
The truly rewarding part of this experience is being in control of your own pop-up farmer’s market. With the help of a designated team of greeters, you will be responsible for setting up the products in a fun and engaging display. As well as guiding your greeters conduct and determining a plan that allows everyone to work smoothly as a team.
Once set, you will be handing out subscriptions full of healthy and nutritious, fresh, local produce. Nothing makes people smile like handing them a beautiful, delicious basket of food.
Trucks are new equipment, automatic transmission refrigerated box trucks ranging in size from 16ft box to 24ft box. CDL drivers who can drive manual transmission will be given extra consideration.
This is an excellent place to start if you are interested in the hands on/physical work, the local food scene, learning to drive a truck, or you would like to get closer to the world of local organic farming. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday. Wednesday through Friday shifts are afternoons (roughly 12 - 8pm) & Saturday is a day shift (7am - 4pm). A minimum of 32 hours will be available each week.
