As our Market Manager based in the Aurora, Illinois region, you’ll promote positive news stories and small businesses in your community. Every day you’ll drive to clients to speak with these local business owners about their story and marketing needs. Then, you’ll find creative ways to tell their stories in videos, articles, and social media - whether it’s pro bono or for a client marketing package. To thrive in this role you do not need experience with sales or marketing, but you must be outgoing. You don’t get intimidated meeting new people or selling a product. You also must have a vehicle to get to the local businesses. We visit our customers on their schedule so you need flexibility during the day Monday through Friday between 8am and 6pm. We will teach you everything else you need to know in our 120 day training program.

Here’s What You Can Expect

Growth. You’ll start making $32,000 - $42,000 annually with opportunities for commission. Within 3-5 years, you can expect to make six figures.
Sales. Don’t think of a car salesman. We are marketing problem solvers for local businesses. You’ll ask questions to understand what they need, explain how services might help, then follow up with a customized offering.
Local travel. While this is a full time, remote position you will be expected to visit local businesses every day. If you’re not going somewhere new to make introductions or shoot a video, you’re visiting clients to deliver on projects sold.
Creative content creation. You will be creating social media posts, 1 to 3 short form articles per week (300-500 words), and filming and editing videos for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok (we’ll teach you how to create that content).
Trying new things. We will teach you everything you need to know through tutorials and instructions, but expect to try new technology and processes all the time so we can work smarter.

You notice small details in writing and video. You love to make sure every task is complete as quickly as possible. Time management and punctuality are important to you.

Compensation

We offer a guaranteed salary with commission that starts at $32,000 - $42,000. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience, and certifications. Our company follows all local guidelines regarding pay equity and salary disclosure.
