Are you an aspiring developer interested in web development and e-commerce solutions? We're looking for a motivated summer intern to help us enhance our dynamic online presence for our wine business. As we expand our offerings and reach, we aim to refine our professional website and Shopify online store to mirror the quality and elegance of our products. Students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Hospitality with a keen interest in digital platforms are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team to grasp our brand identity, target audience, and business goals.
• Assist in designing and developing a visually appealing and user-friendly website that showcases our wine products, brand story, and upcoming events.
• Support the integration of e-commerce functionality using Shopify, enabling customers to browse, purchase, and track orders seamlessly.
• Help ensure responsive design across all devices and optimize performance for speed and user experience.
• Learn and apply SEO best practices to boost visibility and drive organic traffic to our website and online store.
• Engage in social media marketing efforts, creating content and strategies to enhance our online presence and interaction with customers.
• Provide support in ongoing maintenance and updates as needed.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other relevant programming languages.
• Keen interest in UI/UX design principles and responsive web design.
• Familiarity or interest in e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify, is a plus.
• Strong skills in communication and social media engagement.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and eagerness to meet project deadlines.

Additional Information:

• This is a paid summer internship position.
• The role is mainly remote, but occasional in-office meetings will be required for project updates and feedback.
