As the Senior Accountant you’ll be recognized for your unique skills and valued as an important member of our growing finance team. This full-time position reports to our President and assists with all accounting functions, including financial statement preparation and analysis.

Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, and accuracy are important qualifications in this position, as well as great customer service and clear communication. What you’ll do:

  • Prepare, analyze/review, and present, on a monthly basis, the company financials. This will include P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Forecasts, and Budgets.
  • Overall tax management that will include both internal company taxes as well as state sales tax generated from revenue.
  • Analyze and assist in account, bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Provide external facing reports to lenders and participate in annual external audit preparation
  • Process company payroll, bonuses and commissions
  • Assist in internal control for generally accepted accounting principles and business activities.
  • Cross train on all accounting roles. This includes Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Documentation for department along with desk procedures

 

What you’ll need:

  • 4 year degree in accounting and at least 4-5 years’ experience.
  • A strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Sage/Intact is helpful.
  • High aptitude related to excel and excel modeling
  • Knowledge of MS Teams, RingCentral.
  • A love of fast-paced environments and focusing on the details.
  • A mindset of continuous improvement and a willingness to make things better.
  • Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills.
  • The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and hit deadlines.
  • A friendly and helpful personality that values openness, trust, integrity, and respect.

 

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
