We are looking for a reliable Home Health Aide to perform non-medical personal care and household work. For example, you will give baths, change linens, fold laundry and perform other household tasks. In this role, you will be in direct contact with our clients and their families. You should be caring and compassionate to provide a nurturing environment for our clients’ well-being. You will have to become familiar with our client’s health issues and maintain a thorough understanding of their living conditions. We want to see a passion for providing excellent client service. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure that our clients receive the care they need from professional caregivers.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing etc.
  • Maintain a safe environment for the client by keeping the home tidy and food stocked.
  • Assist with grocery shopping, household chores and running errands and help with anything else they might need help with.
  • Keep in regular contact with the client's family.
  • Work with the family to ensure that the client's  needs are being met.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a home health aide preferred but not required
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification but not required
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and provide references
  • Ability to think and work both independently and with direction
  • Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
  • Knowledge of basic housekeeping
