Estimator Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Structural Steel Estimator. The Structural Steel Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for a variety of industrial projects. This includes reviewing project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to understand project scope, conducting quantity take-offs, preparing material and labor costs, and working with the sales team to finalize proposals. The Structural Steel Estimator will also be responsible for maintaining and updating project records and supplier pricing databases.

 Qualifications 

• Experience in steel fabrication and estimating.
• Knowledge of welding, bolting, and installation methods for structural steel
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and other technical documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other estimating software
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately estimate material and labor costs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with sales team, project managers, and customers.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, FabSuite or similar programs is a plus.
