Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service to dog owners and ensure a positive experience for both dogs and their owners.
- Supervise and monitor the behavior and interactions of dogs in the daycare facility.
- Engage in playtime activities with dogs, including fetch, tug-of-war, and other interactive games.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by regularly cleaning up after dogs and sanitizing play areas.
- Administer medications or treatments to dogs as directed by their owners or veterinarians.
- Monitor the health and well-being of dogs, reporting any concerns or issues to management.
- Follow established protocols for handling emergencies or incidents involving dogs.
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with dog owners.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds, including those with behavioral challenges.
- Knowledge of basic dog behavior and body language, with the ability to recognize signs of stress or aggression.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy lifting, such as carrying bags of dog food or moving equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with dog owners and team members.
